Terms of Use
These Terms of Use govern your use of the HomeStocker iOS app and the homestocker.app website. By using them, you agree to these terms.
1. The Service
HomeStocker helps households track the food they have at home, receive alerts before products expire, manage a shopping list and share a pantry with other people.
2. Your Account
You sign in with Apple or Google. You are responsible for the activity on your account and for keeping access to your device secure. You can delete your account at any time from the app settings.
3. Subscriptions
Premium and Family plans are sold and billed by Apple through the App Store. Prices, renewals, cancellations and refunds follow Apple’s terms; you can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID settings. The Apple Standard License Agreement (EULA) also applies to the app.
4. Acceptable Use
Do not misuse the service: do not attempt to access other people’s data, disrupt the service, reverse engineer it, or use it for unlawful purposes.
5. Expiry Dates and Product Data
Expiry dates and alerts depend on the information you enter or scan. HomeStocker is an organization tool and does not guarantee that a product is safe to eat: always check the product, its label and its condition before consuming it. Product information from Open Food Facts may be incomplete or inaccurate.
6. Intellectual Property
The HomeStocker name, logo, app and website belong to their owner. Your pantry data remains yours. Third-party trademarks shown belong to their respective owners.
7. Liability
The service is provided as is. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages or for losses arising from food that expires or is consumed. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer under applicable law.
8. Changes and Termination
We may update these terms or the service. We will notify you of significant changes in the app or on this website. We may suspend accounts that seriously breach these terms.
