When you use the HomeStocker app, we collect personal information necessary to provide the service. This includes your name and email address (via Apple or Google Sign-In), your device information for push notifications, and the data you generate within the app (such as your pantry inventory, activity logs, and product tracking).
2. How We Collect Your Data
Your data is collected directly when you create an account, log in using Single Sign-On (Apple or Google), and interact with the app. For website visitors, we may use analytics tools like Google Analytics and Vercel Analytics (only with your consent for non-essential cookies) to gather anonymous usage statistics.
3. Purpose of Data Processing
We use your data to provide, maintain, and improve the HomeStocker service. This includes syncing your pantry across devices, enabling Family Sharing features, sending expiration alerts via push notifications, and validating your Premium/Family subscriptions.
4. Data Sharing with Third Parties
We do not sell or share your personal data with marketing agencies. We share necessary data only with trusted infrastructure providers (such as secure cloud databases to store your inventory) and Apple StoreKit to securely process and validate your in-app subscriptions.
5. Account Deletion and Your Rights
You have full control over your data. You can permanently delete your account and all associated personal data (including your inventory and activity logs) directly from the Settings menu within the HomeStocker app at any time.
6. Exercising Your Rights
In addition to the in-app deletion tool, you have the right to access, rectify, or request the deletion of your personal information by contacting us directly through our support channels.
7. Security
Your data is stored on modern, secure cloud infrastructure. We use industry-standard encryption and security protocols to protect your authentication tokens and personal information from unauthorized access.
8. Cookies and Similar Technologies

9. Social Media and Content Publishing
HomeStocker runs official accounts on Instagram, Threads and TikTok. We connect to these platforms through their official APIs only to publish our own content and to reply to comments on our own posts. We do not use these connections to collect, store or analyze data about HomeStocker app users, and nothing from your HomeStocker account is ever shared with these platforms. If you comment on or interact with our posts, that content is public and is governed by the privacy policy of the platform you are using.
10. Product Information and Images
Some product names and images shown in the app and in our content come from Open Food Facts, a collaborative and open food products database, and are used under its open licenses (ODbL and CC BY-SA). This data describes products, not people.
